We are looking to expand our network of licensed providers in our Iowa and Wisconsin locations. Positions operate as independent contractors of CWM Counseling, have no minimum caseloads and make their own schedules. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital counseling and therapy services to individuals of all ages.

We handle every aspect of accepting insurance so you don't have to! You take care of the sessions and notes, we'll take care of billing, claims, tech support, and everything else!

Mental Health Therapist - IA, WI

Primary responsibilities will involve:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments

  • Accurately diagnosing mental health disorders

  • Development and monitoring of treatment plans

  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients

  • Timely completion of documentation in accordance with clinical standards

  • Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling and adjust treatment plans as necessary 

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress 

  • Involve and advise family members when appropriate

Requirements:

  • Fully licensed LPC/LMHC/LCSW/LISW 

  • Valid NPI number

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Efficient organizational skills

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate notes and records

  • Proficient in communication technologies (cell phone, email, etc)

  • Compassion for clients and a willingness to understand

  • Confidentiality with client information

  • Relevant training and/or certifications

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professions to ensure holistic and integrate care for our clients

School-based
Therapist - WI

CWM Counseling has teamed up with surrounding schools in the area to provide psychotherapy to children age 5-17 within the school setting to promote optimum brain health, as well as improve social and educational functioning. We are looking for therapists to take over Potosi and Benton schools.

Primary responsibilities will involve:

  • Conducting initial assessment, and other assessments as required

  • Accurately diagnosing mental health disorders

  • Development and monitoring of treatment plans

  • Establishing positive, trusting rapport with students and parents

  • Timely completion of documentation in accordance with clinical standards

  • Meeting with students regularly at the school to provide counseling and adjust treatment plans as necessary 

  • Conducting ongoing assessments of student progress 

  • Involving and advising family members and/or school staff when appropriate

  • Assisting school staff to identify effective strategies to de-escalate or avoid triggering a student

  • Having a highly professional presentation and manner consistent with school standards

  • Fully licensed LPC/LCSW/APSW 

  • Valid NPI number

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Efficient organizational skills

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate notes and records

  • Proficient in communication technologies (cell phone, email, etc)

  • Compassion for clients and a willingness to understand

  • Confidentiality with student information

  • Relevant training and/or certifications

  • Willingness to drive to different locations in area
